As part of the acclaimed production duo ALTAR, he reached #1 on Billboard’s Dance Club Play chart with the track Party People, and has earned multiple additional Top 20 Billboard hits throughout his career. His work has been licensed by major film studios and global brands, including Universal Studios and Abercrombie & Fitch.
With a career spanning over two decades, Macau has played a key role in the international dance music scene both as an artist and entrepreneur. He was a partner and co-owner of the independent label MamaHouse Records, where he contributed to the development and global release of influential electronic music projects. His catalog includes releases on respected labels such as Tommy Boy, Star69, Ferosh Records, A45, and DMX.
Now based in the United States, Macau leads his own label, Potent Mixes, while continuing to produce, remix, and collaborate with a diverse range of artists including Heather Small, Bliss Bliss, Ianya Day, Dirty Disco, Matt Consola, Yinon Yahel, and Micky Friedmann.
