Macau is an international music producer, songwriter, global DJ, and a voting member of the Recording Academy - GRAMMY Awards. As part of the dynamic production team of ALTAR, his breakthrough music reached #1 on Billboard’s charts for Dance Club Play with the song “Party People”. Additionally, he has had 6 other top 20 Billboard hits. His music has been licensed by major movie studios and international brands including Universal Studio’s and Abercrombie & Fitch. 

 

Macau was a partner and owner of the independent record label MamaHouse Records from 2007 to 2013. He has released songs across the globe with other important record labels such as Tommy Boy, Star69, Ferosh Records, A45, DMX and many others. 

 

In 2019, Macau moved to the United States and launched his own label named Potent Mixes. He also has been remixing some talented artists like Bliss Bliss, Ianya Day, Heather Small, Dirty Disco, Matt Consola, Yinon Yahel and Micky Friedmann. As part of the duo ALTAR, Macau frequently performed at top parties in Europe, Mexico and South America.
